Job description

MUST HAVES:

Position will be working in the Mainframe platform support group. Candidate must have Mainframe application support experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applications

Monitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptime

Analyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL)

Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job executions

Partner with Production Control to restart and recover failed jobs

Respond to business user requests and application team needs

Maintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence)

Monitor and respond to application group mailboxes

Document incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-up

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support (application support required)

 

Technologies/tools:

JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMS, Mainview

File tools: File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEV

Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence or similar)

Ability to work in a high-volume, production-critical environment
