Job Summary:
  • Mainframe Architect with expertise in z/OS System Administration, Production Control, Scheduling, Storage, Network, DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, WAS, RACF, Performance & Capacity Management, and Automation.
  • Highly skilled in z/OS System Architecture with IODF/IOCP expertise.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS operating system and associated system software such as SMP/E, JES2, RACF, and SMF.
  • Strong understanding of Production Control and Scheduling with experience in IWS (TWS) & JOBTRAC tools.
  • Deep knowledge of IBM Z architecture, workload management (WLM), performance tuning, and system-level debugging.
  • Expertise in z/OS version upgrades and z/OS MF.
  • Experience with VTS and hardware upgrades.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Mainframe professionals, including system programmers and administrators.
  • Provide expert-level technical guidance on z/OS systems, Mainframe storage, networking, security, and automation.
  • Drive best practices in Mainframe System administration, software upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues and outages.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Mainframe System Automation tools such as IBM SA z/OS and CA OPS/MVS.
  • Expertise in Mainframe Network Administration.
  • Strong understanding of Storage, RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and WAS technologies.
  • Experience in migration projects, including CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation.
  • Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE programming.
