    • Brooklyn, OH 44144
  • Parking provided.

Schedule
  • Standard hours: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Flexible work schedule:
    • Start time: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
    • End time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:
Position Overview
The hiring managers are seeking a candidate who:
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Is team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
  • Is comfortable using technology and computer systems.
  • Maintains a positive attitude.
  • Can stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Can occasionally lift 30-50 lbs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Receive and sort inbound USPS mail and accountable packages.
  • Check in and deliver USPS mail and accountable packages using chain-of-custody technology.
  • Retrieve outbound USPS mail and packages from designated mail hubs.
  • Walk and deliver mail/packages throughout a campus consisting of:
    • Two buildings
    • Multiple floors
  • Create and process FedEx shipping labels.
  • Maintain accurate package tracking and delivery records.

Ideal Candidate Background
Previous experience in the following areas is highly transferable:
  • Restaurant server positions
    • Strong customer service focus
    • Comfortable being on their feet throughout the day
    • Experience using POS systems and technology
  • Mailroom experience is not required.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements
  • Walk and/or stand 4-6 hours per day.
  • Frequently bend, reach, stretch, and climb stairs.
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.
  • Push or pull office equipment when necessary.
  • Walk between buildings as required.
