We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Facilities Support professional to in Grand Rapids. You will serve as a key resource for mailroom, shipping and receiving, and facilities operations, helping ensure the efficient flow of mail, packages, supplies, and critical business documents across our campuses. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $17.12 - $22.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will Do in This Role:
  • Print large volumes of a variety of requests for electrical/mechanical/software engineers and installers globally
  • Print multiple sizes (A,B,C,D,E) primary engineer drawings
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for machines and equipment
  • Process incoming ticket requests
  • Retrieve company US Mail from the Post Office
  • Distribute mail, order supplies, restock all MFD's on-site
  • Shred files
  • Partner with Facilities Specialist for restocking water throughout campuses
  • Receive small package shipments from carriers and process shipments through FedEx, US Mail and others
  • Perform audits on departments for delivering mail
  • Cross-training within the department and other responsibilities as needed
  • Process international and local mailings
  • Assists facilities department and security with data entry and admin tasks

What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Excel
  • Ability to safely lift and move various items weighing up to 50-100 pounds
  • Comfortable learning and using business applications and shipping/tracking systems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail while working independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven record of providing outstanding customer service and build positive working relationships
  • Experience in shipping and receiving, mailroom, facilities support, logistics, customer service, or a related field preferred
