Job description

Job Description This position is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail/packages for prisoners and staff. This includes completing the necessary paperwork associated with it and following up with staff until the paperwork is complete. Duties also include reviewing all electronic emails to and from prisoners, posting prisoner receipts and assisting in business office tasks.

All incoming mail and packages are searched for any form of contraband found in accordance with established policies and procedures. Respond to prisoner grievances and kites. Required Education and Experience Education Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.

Experience General Office Assistant 5 No specific type or amount of experience is required. General Office Assistant 6 One year of administrative support experience. General Office Assistant E7 Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate level.
