 JOB SUMMARY: 
The Database Specialist is an on-site position responsible for supporting the daily operations of the casino marketing database department. This positions primary role and responsibilities assisting management, report generation, campaign execution, and direct and digital mail programs. This position assists in maintaining accurate player information, preparing database analytics, and supporting direct and digital mail programs designed to increase guest loyalty, visitation, and gaming revenue. The Database Specialist works closely with the Director of Database Marketing, Database Administrator, Database Supervisor to ensure database accuracy, promotional integrity, and compliance with all gaming regulations and company policies. 
JOB DUTIES: 
• Maintain and update player database information within the casino management system. 
• Assist with development, execution and approval of all direct and digital mail programs. 
• Generate reports related to guest activity, promotions, and gaming trends. 
• Support database segmentation and player analysis initiatives. 
• Verify promotional setup accuracy within the casino management system. 
• Audit player records and promotional data for accuracy and compliance. 
• Assist with loyalty club and player tracking operations. 
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Player Development, Finance, IT, Slots, and Table Games. 
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information. 
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental procedures.  
• Assist leadership with special projects and analytics as assigned. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to analyze data and prepare accurate reports. 
• Strong computer and technical skills. 
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
• Knowledge of casino loyalty programs and player tracking systems preferred.

CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIRMENTS 
• All patron information is considered proprietary and must remain confidential at all times; Information is the property WinnaVegas Casino Resort and the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. 
• The Database Specialist is responsible for ensuring sensitive information is not visible, accessible, or disclosed to unauthorized individuals while performing their job duties. 
• Any breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination of employment. 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 
• Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred. 
• Minimum of 1–3 years of casino marketing, database, or analytics experience preferred. 
• Experience with casino management systems preferred. 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting software preferred. 
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset. 
• Professional and team-focused attitude. 
• Strong work ethic and reliability. 
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs. 
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT 
Work is performed in both office and casino environments with exposure to noise, smoke, and varying temperatures consistent with a gaming and hospitality operation. 
Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and/or certifications required by the Gaming Commission and the organization. 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. 
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to move throughout casino and office environments.
