Job Description: The Maintenance Director performs semi-skilled work in the maintenance, care, and modification of grounds and landscapes which includes the operation of electrically powered and gasoline-powered groundskeeping equipment and machines, and the use of small hand and power tools or equipment in planting, cultivating, and trimming grounds and landscaping.
About us: Magnolia Health Systems is a statewide healthcare company with assisted living, pediatric, and skilled nursing facilities. Magnolia Health Systems is seeking a Maintenance Director to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents.
About the Role: Magnolia Health Systems is seeking a Maintenance Director to-
  • Coordinate and perform daily maintenance repairs and perform preventive maintenance work and special projects.
  • Maintain wheelchairs, shower chairs and work carts by cleaning, oiling and conducting necessary repairs.
  • Maintain grounds as needed, including grass cutting, yard cleaning, shrubbery trimming, fence repairs, tree trimming, insect control, etc.
  • Perform facility work such as painting, electrical, mechanical and minor repairs and renovations both indoors and outdoors.
  • Perform any other Supervisory roles such as scheduling, coordinating with building Administrator, etc.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in electrical, plumbing and air-conditioning functions highly desirable.
  • Completion of elementary education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
