Job description

Position Title: Sales Manager - Thixo Die Casting Line
About: Build the market, own the territory, and drive the next phase of growth for an established global machinery manufacturer. We are seeking a Sales Manager - Thixo Die Casting Line to lead nationwide sales and business development for its thixomolding technology across the United States. This is a highly entrepreneurial sales role focused on developing new business, managing the full sales cycle, cultivating relationships with manufacturers and decision-makers, delivering technical and commercial presentations, preparing quotes and proposals, and partnering with engineering and service teams to deliver the right solutions. The successful candidate will be a proven die casting industry sales professional with 5+ years of direct competitor experience, a strong network of industry contacts, exceptional business development skills, and the drive to build a national territory.
Salary: $95,000 - $135,000/ Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry relationships
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and technical discovery through proposals, negotiations, order intake, and payment collection
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers, decision-makers, sales agents, and industry partners
  • Deliver product presentations, proposals, quotes, and commercially focused solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Partner with engineering, service, production, and sales support teams to provide effective technical solutions
  • Represent at customer meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events while maintaining accurate CRM activity, forecasts, and reporting

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the die casting industry required
  • Current or recent experience with a direct competitor required
  • Diploma, bachelor's, master's degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated success in industrial machinery sales and new business development
  • Strong understanding of die casting processes, manufacturing environments, and customer applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively nationwide, with travel potentially reaching 80-90%
