Are you passionate about CNC machine tools and industrial equipment? Do you thrive on the thrill of the deal and enjoy working in both the field and office?

This role offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 – $95,000 annually plus uncapped commissions, with an expected total compensation range of $150,000 – $250,000 per year (based on performance).

Join Productivity, Inc.’s MachinesUsed.com Division as a Used Machinery Buyer / Auction Specialist and play a vital role in helping manufacturing customers across the Western U.S. buy, sell, and auction CNC machines and industrial equipment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys building relationships, and has hands-on experience with equipment inspections, valuations, and auctions. You’ll balance fieldwork with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth transactions and successful auctions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase used CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and industrial tools across CO, WY, MT, WA, OR, ID, and Western NE

  • Sell and broker CNC and industrial equipment using our established platform

  • Conduct on-site inspections, condition evaluations, and documentation

  • Identify, secure, and develop auction and liquidation opportunities

  • Manage auction setup, lotting, project execution, and removal oversight

  • Coordinate rigging, logistics, and shipping for purchased and sold equipment

  • Build relationships with machine shops, manufacturers, and industrial businesses

  • Partner with Productivity’s sales team to capture trade-ins and surplus equipment

  • Represent MachinesUsed.com professionally in the field and at customer sites

  • Utilize our proprietary CRM, inventory, marketing, and auction software

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in used machinery, industrial equipment, auctions, or capital equipment sales

  • Strong understanding of CNC machine tools and industrial equipment

  • Proven ability to value equipment, negotiate deals, and close transactions

  • Experience with inspections, rigging coordination, or equipment removals

  • Familiarity with auction processes (lotting, setup, checkout, removal)

  • Self-starter mindset with excellent organizational skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to travel regionally and work in a hybrid office/field environment

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary: $90,000 – $95,000 annually + uncapped commissions

  • Expected total compensation range: $150,000 – $250,000 per year (based on performance)

  • Mileage reimbursement and travel support

  • Company laptop, cell phone, and direct office line

  • Office space at Productivity Inc. in Littleton, CO or Richardson, TX + remote flexibility

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match

  • Quarterly business reviews to discuss sales performance, territory development, and opportunities for expanded responsibilities and increased earning potential

Why Join Productivity?  At Productivity, Inc., we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled customer service with integrity and expertise. Our MachinesUsed.com Division has been a trusted resource for used machine tools for over 20 years, offering solutions through buying, selling, consigning, and online auctions.
