Job description

MACHINE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machine Operator for a company based in Calhoun, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production operations by preparing materials, mixing and filling products, operating forklifts, and assisting with shipping and receiving while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is full-time, temporary to hire.

Pay Rate
$24.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (overtime as needed)

Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Receive and execute daily batch production assignments while ensuring adherence to batch card specifications and production schedules.
• Stage, verify, weigh, and blend raw materials in coordination with inventory and quality control teams to maintain product quality and accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas by performing cleaning, routine maintenance, and reporting repair needs to supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, while promoting a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience required, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Manufacturing, production, batch processing, or material-handling experience preferred, with strong attention to detail and adherence to written procedures.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials, work at heights, and wear required PPE, including respiratory protection when needed.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
