The Senior Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and supporting daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This role is intended for an experienced operator who can work independently, perform machine setups and adjustments, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain consistent production output. The Senior Machine Operator serves as a dependable contributor to the manufacturing team and helps ensure efficient operations throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials while monitoring product quality and production output.
  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify maintenance when repairs are needed.
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Inspect products to ensure specifications and quality requirements are met.
  • Complete production logs, quality checks, and required documentation accurately.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
