We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator (Press Brake) to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in producing precision sheet metal components. What You'll Do As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for forming sheet metal parts to exact specifications using press brake equipment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines (RG-80, RG-50) Perform bending and forming operations based on engineering drawings Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy Follow work instructions and production schedules Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Support additional shop tasks as needed What You Bring Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with Amada press brakes (RG80, RG50, RG25 preferred) Familiarity with Amada NC-9EX Controller Experience using Dr. Abe software for programming and setup Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Work Environment Manufacturing setting (sheet metal shop) Standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods Regular handling and manipulation of materials and parts Lifting up to 25 pounds Exposure to noise (hearing protection required) Safety glasses required on the production floor Occasional forklift operation Why Join Elma.
