Operator Assistant

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? Looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Operator Assistant with our Oshkosh client.

Position –Operator Assistant

Job Location –Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Starting Date –Immediate

Employment Term –Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type –Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –Nights - 12 hour 2-2-3 shift

Starting Pay –$20/hr

Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Looking for someone who wants to learn and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment while being able to work on many different tasks. Should have prior machine operator/helper or extrusion experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use of forklift will be required at times
  • Collect needed raw materials from warehouse
  • Stage materials for production
  • Maintain material levels at the equipment in proper locations and designations
  • Monitor material levels and function of material handling equipment
  • Unload finished goods from the machine
  • Properly label, weigh and package
  • Stage finished goods in the warehouse
  • Assist operators as needed
  • Any candidate/employee that shows willingness to learn, and has good safety and sttendance record will be considered for operator training

SEEK was founded in 1971 by Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR, a Grafton, Wisconsin resident. The name SEEK was derived from a combination of initials in Carol’s family. It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
