Job description

Helper I or Helper II will assist one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades. Essential Responsibilities: Keeping a worker supplied with materials and tools, cleaning working area, machine, and equipment. Assisting journeyman by holding materials or tools. Performing other unskilled tasks as directed by journeyman. In some trades the helper is confined to supplying, lifting, and holding materials and tools, and cleaning working areas and in others, the worker is permitted to perform specialized machine operations, or parts of a trade that are also performed by workers on a full-time basis. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Experience and Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. Helper I - Zero years of general maintenance experience required. Helper II - Minimum of three years of general maintenance experience required. Ability to lift 45 lbs. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred. Maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance Compensation Details:
