Job Description
Seeking a talented individual with a background in construction management to help support the growth of our company through managing new construction builds and overseeing current building needs.
The Construction Administrator position is mostly clerical and will involve:
• Preparing all subcontracts, purchase orders, and maintain all logs
• Prepare all change orders for contracts
• Prepare all transmittals which transmit anything leaving the office without a cover letter
• Maintain site drawings
• Assist the Project Manager with maintaining the project schedule
• Evaluate all projects and ensure compliance to all budgets for contract services and coordinate with Project Manager to review all projects and maintain estimates and track all invoices and work orders
In addition, construction coordinators may also be responsible for coordinating actives, such as meetings and training, making traveling arrangements for the Project Manager.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior experience in multifamily construction projects is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize projects, work against deadlines and organize work flow with multiple interruptions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Sage 100 Contractor desired but not mandatory
• Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team player
