Job Summary
The X Center Golf & Shooting Simulator Operator is responsible for delivering an engaging, safe and premium sports simulation experience for guests utilizing the M1 Concourse X Center's virtual golf and interactive shooting attractions. This position manages simulator bay operations, guest orientation, equipment distribution, software configuration and attraction oversight while ensuring exceptional hospitality and operational excellence.  The Golf & Shooting Simulator Operator serves as both host and technical specialist, helping guests of all experience levels confidently navigate simulator technology and maximize enjoyment of their experience. The position will also cross-train to support Sim Racing operations during lower-volume periods. The X Center Golf & Shooting Simulator Operator shall represent M1 Concourse with the highest level of professionalism and decorum.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assigns guests to simulator bays and manages reservation schedules and bay utilization.
  • Assists with private events, corporate outings, leagues, tournaments and hospitality experiences. 
  • Cleans and sanitizes simulator equipment, surfaces, controls and guest-contact areas following each session. 
  • Collaborates with Team Members to ensure seamless operation across all X Center attractions.
  • Cross-trains and assists with Sim Racing operations during lower-volume periods. 
  • Ensures adherence to company policies, operational procedures and safety requirements.
  • Ensures all simulator bays remain clean, organized and operational throughout the day. 
  • Explains game rules, scoring systems, equipment operation and simulator functionality.
  • Issues, tracks, maintains and verifies the return of golf clubs, balls, laser peripherals and other simulator equipment. 
  • Launches simulator software, configures courses, games, scenarios and user settings.
  • Maintains a guest-first mindset and promotes exceptional hospitality experiences. 
  • Maintains accurate records of equipment inventory and usage. 
  • Maintains awareness of software updates, simulator enhancements and attraction offerings.
  • Maintains cleanliness and presentation standards throughout simulator and guest areas. 
  • Monitors simulator sessions to ensure safe and appropriate guest participation.
  • Operates and oversees daily Golf and Shooting Simulator activities and guest participation. 
  • Performs routine inspections of simulator equipment and reports maintenance concerns promptly. 
  • Provides instruction and guidance to first-time users and novice participants.
  • Responds professionally and promptly to guest questions, concerns, and service requests. 
  • Troubleshoots software issues, hardware concerns and peripheral device malfunctions. 
  • Welcomes guests and provides orientation regarding simulator operation, safety requirements and experience expectations.
  • Performs all other duties as may be required and assigned.
