Travel Possible Job Summary: The Aircraft Mechanic I - Electronics (AT) will perform maintenance on various aircraft systems including structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, hydraulic systems, engines, avionics, armament, rotor systems, and others. This position involves working with multi-national teams, and ensuring safe and mission-ready aircraft operations.Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or overall tasking. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Aircraft Repairs: o Maintenance on engine/gearbox/rotor systems, avionics, fuselage, rigging, plumbing, and hydraulic systems. * Technical Knowledge: o Interpret maintenance manuals, specifications, and service bulletins for repairs and replacements. * Engine Inspections & Repairs: o Conduct inspections, remove, repair, or replace defective engine parts, documentation of all tasking in OOMA. * Electrical & Aircraft Systems: o Adjust, repair, and replace electrical wiring and aircraft accessories. * Record Keeping: o Accurately document all maintenance performed in compliance with regulations. * Leadership: o Ensure safety and quality in maintenance activities and monitor subordinates. * Specializations: o May specialize in engine repair, airframes, electrical, or armament. o Maintain necessary certifications such as Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) or Quality Assurance Representative (QAR). o Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed in OOMA or similar to OOMA systems ensuring compliance with 4790 and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: * Experience: o 3+ years of recent experience in H-60S/R/F/H aircraft maintenance, including CDI/CDQAR experience. ALFS qualification is required. * Technical Knowledge: o In-depth knowledge of applicable aircraft, maintenance manuals, and systems. * Clearance: o Must obtain and maintain a T3 background check, and some positions may require a secret clearance. * Physical Requirements: o Must meet medical and physical fitness standards. Page 2 of 2 * Shift Flexibility: o Must be available to work on shifts, based on flight schedules and operational needs. * Experience with MH60-R aircraft highly preferred. Working Conditions: * Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. * Computer usage for documentation using codes and clear written and verbal English language required. * Constant use of eyesight abilities while reviewing documents, walking around work areas and constant use of English language speech/hearing abilities for communication. * Constant mental alertness around all work areas, must possess planning/organization skills. Must be able to work under deadlines. * Climbing aircraft using aircraft step and all types of ladders or stands. * Standing for long periods of time and minimal sitting. * Ability to work under extreme weather conditions. * Ability to meet physical demands and pass any required medical examinations. * Work site has head, hand, hearing, eye, slip and trip hazards. Proper PPE shall be used and proper safety procedures followed. * Must be able to work all shifts. Full-time employment: however, 40 hours is not guaranteed per-week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or overall tasking.
