Travel Possible Job Summary: M1 is looking for a Tools and Parts Attendant Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. * Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers. * Searches for lost or misplaced tools and prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed. * Unpacks and stores new equipment. * Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn- out equipment to superiors. * May coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun. * May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool Qualifications and Experience: * High School diploma or GED is mandatory. * Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data). * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements. * Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and professional manner. * Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position. Working Conditions: * Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
