Travel Possible Job Summary: M1 is looking for a Training Instructor Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Conducts formal academic and hands on aircraft maintenance training. * Documents individual training records as necessary. * Coordinates with Branch Managers to schedule training aircraft. * Ensures all activities are accomplished strictly in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, and company policies. * Responsible for the implementation of the Training program. * Reports to Training Supervisor. * Ensures personnel have obtained the necessary training and instructions to successfully perform their duties. Interfaces with internal and external customers. * Attends applicable meetings as required. * Plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates training operations and personnel. * Supports company business development efforts as needed. * Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner. * Represent the company in an appropriate professional manner in terms of attire, business courtesies, ethics, and customer culture. Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in an associated discipline is desired. * Thorough understanding of USAF aircraft maintenance processes desired. * Minimum 4 years of USAF maintenance training environment, award of formal training "T" code required. T-6 and/or T-38 maintenance experience preferred. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. Working Conditions: * Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
