Good Faith Pay Range: In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith hourly pay range for this position is $20.75-$27.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.
This position is based at our Virginia Beach, VA campus location.

The Career Services Support Specialist at ECPI University assists the Career Services team by coordinating career-related events, maintaining job search resources, and providing direct support to students and alumni.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing career fairs, workshops, and employer information sessions to connect students with potential employers.
  • Resource Management: Maintain career services platforms, such as Handshake, to post job opportunities and track student engagement.
  • Student Assistance: Answer questions students may have regarding Career Services and assist those seeking employment while in school, including externships.
  • Employer Engagement: Support the development and maintenance of relationships with local and regional employers to facilitate job placements and internships/externships.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and report on employment outcomes, student participation in career services, and satisfaction metrics to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in career advising or employee recruitment preferred
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, other career services software a plus .
    • Ability to organize events and workshops effectively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty.
    • Familiarity with employer hiring expectations
