The Opportunity
PAE is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Entry-Level Technology Engineer to join our Seattle team in a professional hybrid office environment. This role is designed for a proactive individual looking to build a career in the specialized design of smart building systems. Under the mentorship of experienced project leads, you will transition from academic theory to professional practice, learning to design and model telecom, audiovisual, security, and healthcare technology systems. You will play a foundational role in supporting project teams while developing technical mastery in industry-standard software and global technology standards.

What You'll Do
  • Develop an understanding of technology system design and documentation
  • Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools
  • Grow in the ability to read plans and understand system diagrams
  • Provide task-based support for design of telecom, audiovisual, security, healthcare and other technology systems
  • Develop an understanding of specifications, building codes and technology industry standards
  • Perform room sizing, cable raceway capacity, sound pressure level, and visual display distance calculations
  • Research codes and standards, and participate in code compliance discussions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $72,400-$87,400annual

The base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
