Position Summary Manages the planning and operations of a terminal. Oversees various terminal functions, including pickup and delivery, dock operations, and general administration. Major Tasks and Responsibilities Directs and coordinates the activities of terminal employees to provide cost effective, timely, and quality service to customers. Investigates customer complaints and resolves problems. Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe and efficient operations. Coordinates staffing levels and work scheduling to maximize terminal productivity. Oversees compliance with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations. Uses software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Interviews, selects, and onboards terminal employees. Facilitates good employee relations through motivation, feedback, and coaching. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. 5+ years of terminal operations experience.
