• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the individual needs of clients and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate client healing and growth.
• Facilitate individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing tailored strategies to foster engagement and promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client records are updated and reflective of treatment progress.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize client care and treatment effectiveness.
• Engage in professional development activities such as workshops and training sessions to stay current with advancements in mental health research and best practices.

You will work with clients from differing backgrounds and experiences, aiming to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your expertise and empathy will be essential in creating a safe and understanding environment for clients to express themselves and pursue healing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely-related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• A strong understanding of mental health best practices, legal regulations, and ethical standards affecting the practice of counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technologies for documentation and client management.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Experience working with underserved populations and an understanding of the barriers these individuals face in accessing mental health services.

• The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
