Key Responsibilities

As an LPC at Goodwell Counseling Services, you will engage in a variety of counseling activities that include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
  • Documenting clinical notes accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and create a supportive network around patients.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, to stay current on mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele includes individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and family dynamics. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
