Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy strategies.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse client groups, including individuals, families, and couples.
  • Utilize multiple therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused techniques to address client concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, keeping abreast of advancements in mental health practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The target clientele at Goodwell Counseling Services ranges from children to adults, with a focus on individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational issues. Your expertise will provide essential support to clients who may otherwise have limited access to mental health resources.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with various demographics and an understanding of cultural competencies in mental health treatment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
