Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES - SAFETY:
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate an operational "Safety Program"
  • "Safety Program" to include but not limited to:
    • Risk Management
    • DOT Compliance
    • Vehicle Safety Initiative
    • Develop Safety Manuals, and Policies
    • Safety Recognition Program
    • Safety Newsletter and Monthly Safety Focus
    • Employee Safety and Life-saving Training
    • Workplace Injury & Illness Prevention
    • Branch Safety Inspections and Hazard Analysis
    • Quarterly hour and case reporting to OSHA and SUSA
    • Reports analyzing data and implement strategies to address areas of weakness
  • Workers' Compensation
    • Case liaison to TPA Sedgwick and SUSA
  • Customer Prequalification and New Business Support
    • Provide SOP as required for each customer
    • Proof of training
    • Publish monthly usage reports of hours worked
    • Quarterly OSHA report
  • Business Continuity Leader
    • Logistical preparedness
    • Disaster preparedness
    • Emergency Management

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES - LOSS PREVENTION:
• Develop, implement and facilitate a comprehensive, company-wide "Loss Prevention" program
• Loss Prevention Program to include but not limited to:
o Branch Procedural Inspections
§ SOP Review and Training
§ Loss and adjustment reviews
o Facility and property hardening
      • Walk throughs, vulnerably analysis
      • Facility design changes
      • Call out lists, and security reports

• Investigations (Company representative)
o Interview
o Investigatory Services
o Collaborate with law enforcement agencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields or safety experience of no less than 10 years
  • Degree in related field or comparable line police or investigative officer experience
  • Proven experience with Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental
  • Credentialed member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local law regarding safety and health
  • Proven leadership skills and team management experience
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem solving ability
  • Strong computer skills, database management and record keeping
  • Position requires 50% Travel
