Job Summary
We are seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to join our team! As a Loss Prevention Agent, you will be spending most of your shift on the retail floor, observing customers and maintaining a strong presence to deter and prevent shoplifters or fraudulent activities. You will also be maintaining accurate reports of incidents within the store, working closely with staff to create a positive environment, and handling any potential shoplifters. The ideal candidate is someone who has no problems confronting potential shoplifters or fraudulent shoppers, can work well independently, and can maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism. 
Responsibilities 
  • Watch footage, walk the sales floor, and converse with staff to help identify shoplifting and fraud attempts
  • Identify fraudulent activity with returns or customer interactions
  • Protect company assets from shrinking both internally and externally
  • Assist staff as needed with problem customers or negative interactions
  • Write accurate reports about your daily activities and any interactions with customers
  • Loop in law enforcement on issues as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with loss prevention in a retail setting desired
  • The ability to confidently confront problem customers and step in as needed during negative customer interactions
  • Familiarity with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite and loss prevention programs
