Loom Technician (Fixer)


Location: Thomasville, NC
Schedule: 7:00AM-3:00PM


Is currently seeking an experienced Loom Technician (Fixer) for a well-established textile manufacturing company,. This company has been producing high-quality woven labels and trims since 1929 and continues to grow through innovation and excellence in manufacturing.

If you have experience maintaining weaving equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain rapier and air jet weaving looms
  • Diagnose and correct mechanical issues and loom stoppages
  • Replace defective machine parts as needed
  • Inspect feeders, cutting units, and other machine functions
  • Perform preventative maintenance on weaving equipment
  • Adjust timing, tension, and alignment to improve machine performance
  • Assist with warp changes and correct misdraws or mis-reeds
  • Occasionally change loom setups for different yarn types or patterns
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with weaving looms or textile machinery preferred
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
