We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join a leading packaging manufacturing company in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will oversee outbound logistics operations, manage inventory flow, and lead a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence.  Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations including outbound shipments and yard activities.
  • Monitor and streamline truck check-in and loading processes to minimize wait times and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize rail logistics, working closely with rail carriers to coordinate inbound shipments.
  • Use SAP or other ERP/WMS systems to manage outbound inventory and shipments.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve outbound flow and reduce delays.
  • Collaborate with the Inbound team to ensure smooth inventory management and maintain optimal on-site inventory levels.
