About the Opportunity


A growing recycling operation is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics and supply chain functions at its Strasburg, Virginia facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient material movement, accurate inventory and documentation processes, and uninterrupted operational flow throughout the plant.


Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Logistics Manager will lead logistics strategy, optimize supply chain performance, coordinate with internal and external partners, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.


What You’ll Do


● Manage and coordinate all logistics and supply chain operations

● Oversee the movement, storage, tracking, and flow of materials throughout the facility

● Maintain accurate records and chain-of-custody documentation

● Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve operational efficiency

● Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions and operational bottlenecks

● Collaborate with production, suppliers, transportation providers, and third-party partners

● Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

● Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

● Adapt quickly to changing operational demands and business conditions

● Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and maintain workflow

● Participate as a key member of the plant leadership team to establish priorities and support facility growth

● Support additional operational initiatives as needed


What You Bring


● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

● 3+ years of experience in a logistics management role

● Proven experience managing logistics and supply chain functions
