ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Associate Manager, Regional Logistics Operations, you will lead regional logistics operations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service at optimal cost. As the primary interface between SC Johnson and third-party logistics service providers (LSPs), you will drive operational excellence, lead strategic initiatives, and champion continuous improvement across the network. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse operations, managing throughput capacity, and ensuring cost-effective distribution through data-driven decision-making and project leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership and Effectiveness
  • Lead regional logistics operations to meet service, cost, and compliance goals.
  • Own the day-to-day performance and strategic relationship with LSPs, ensuring alignment with SCJ standards and business priorities.
  • Drive throughput capacity planning and warehouse fleet optimization to support scalable operations.

Project Management
  • Lead cross-functional logistics projects including network modeling, contract transitions, and process automation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regional logistics strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable logistics solutions.

Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction
  • Champion lean practices and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives through route-to-market optimization, external benchmarking, and sustainable process improvements.
  • Analyze fixed and variable cost structures to identify opportunities for savings and operational enhancements.

Performance and Compliance
  • Monitor and manage LSP performance against KPIs and budget expectations.
  • Ensure full compliance with SCJ policies and country-specific regulations including safety, environmental, and import/export standards.
  • Provide predictive insights and analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve logistics outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with Customer Supply Chain and other internal teams to ensure logistics operations support business goals.
  • Build strong business partnerships and foster external collaboration to enhance service delivery and innovation.

Service
  • Manage inventory accuracy in LSP(s) to meet budget and operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure all processes relating to inventory are operated in full compliance to all relevant SCJ and country legal standards regarding health, safety, environmental, dangerous goods, transport, SCJ GEN, and import/export regulations.
  • Coordinate communication between SCJ QA and QI personnel and LSP/Contract Manufacturer counterparts regarding identification and disposition of inventory that does not conform to quality standards.

Cash
  • Inventory accuracy, including book to book reconciliation, and audit of cycle and stock counts.
  • Support key initiatives for EDI testing and development for both North American and Global Supply Chain.

Cost
  • Lead savings initiatives cross functionally for aggressive inventory reduction goals.
  • Inventory management including compliance and reporting, as well as obsolescence/disposal processes.

Customer
  • Lead rituals and routines with cross-functional groups both in and out of Product Supply in the execution of OTIF and CFR targets.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and LSP management.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
  • Proven leadership in logistics operations, with a track record of driving cost savings and service improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to visualize data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management expertise with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Lean practices; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • ASCM Certification in CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Full Time position, standard business hours Monday through Friday
  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period.
  • Travel required - around 20%
  • This role is not eligible for relocation.

The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 104,000.00 USD - 136,500.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
