Location:
Fully onsite. Travel may be required across sites for backfill support, training, or workload balancing as necessary.
Introduction
Join our dynamic team where you will manage, process, and perform all material movement transactions in an electronic component production environment. This role involves performing physical and transactional duties to receive incoming purchase orders, kit material to the production line, perform cycle counting duties, and ship orders. You will help manage and control all materials in Warehouse and Production locations, supporting quality teams on failed material inventory movement, and assisting with material operation projects and special assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of warehouse/inventory experience preferred
  • MRP system experience & knowledge required (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and organization skills, ability to multi-task while making effective decisions
  • Attention to details and strong organizational skills
  • Independent person and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Team Player, Problem solver
  • Proficient with MS Office is required
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • RMA, procurement, or Return to Vendor experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming material and perform incoming receiving inspection, including physical and visual inspection & document verification
  • Handle internal product transfers and shipments
  • Pick work orders and deliver parts to the production line
  • Ship and receive material
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigations
  • Triage incoming material parts for rework or scrap
  • Perform MRP transactions in SAP - create work orders, transfer inventory, ship/receive orders
  • Communicate with production and engineering teams on any receiving issues and/or discrepancies
  • Consolidate pending parts for repair charges and assist with material production planning
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of stock inventory locations, receiving dock, and warehouse
  • Ensure quality documentation provided with shipments is correct
  • Troubleshoot material movements or roadblocks to processing
  • Report on inventory quantity, units processed, and overall material status
