Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Site Logistics Assistant to support daily operations on an active construction site in Hagerstown, MD. This role is critical in ensuring materials are properly received, tracked, and distributed to maintain efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and distribute materials to crews on-site

• Maintain accurate daily inventory logs of tools, equipment, and materials

• Track incoming and outgoing materials and report discrepancies

• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure materials are available as needed

• Run local errands and procure small parts, tools, and supplies

• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries

• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and accessible

• Support general site logistics and operational needs as directed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, warehouse, or logistics preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• OSHA 10 or 30 or ability to obtain

• Comfortable using basic technology (smartphone, spreadsheets, inventory logs)

• Self-motivated and able to work independently on-site

Work Environment

Active construction site environment requiring standing, walking, and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate of $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement for job-related errands may be provided.
