A Brief Overview
The Sr. Logistics Coordinator will focus on overseeing the entire logistics process, including planning, coordinating and supporting logistics strategies. The Sr. Logistics coordinator will support both store delivery and fulfilment center(FC) to warehouse replenishment functions. Managing carrier partner performance and delivery exceptions for store delivery activities early morning hours to ensure on-time in full delivery to our store teams. Proactively solutioning recovery options with our carrier partners when delivery exception occur acting as the point person for communication between carrier partners and our store and warehouse teams. They will manage the daily replenishment planning process for the movement of inventory from FC to warehouse locations. Managing carrier selection for load tender, truckload capacity, and carrier delivery performance.
What you will do

  • Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM PST.

  • Manage carrier partner delivery performance for store delivery, proactively solution for delivery exceptions as they arise, communicate recovery plans with all parties through final delivery

  • Coordinate FC to WH replenishment schedule with an emphasis on service, while also maximizing trailer utilization and minimizing out of route miles. Provides final approval of the daily replenishment schedule with dedicated logistics partners.

  • Coordinate returns to the FC and recycler, scheduled knock down returns from the warehouse to the FC with an emphasis on service and utilization.

  • Coordinate supplier inbound shipments to /FC.

  • Monitor carrier performance, track KPI metrics, solicit and provide feedback to carrier partners where opportunities exist.

  • Provide support with carrier invoice review, coding, and initial approval. Monitor group inboxes actioning requests accordingly

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Required


Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Distribution or transportation industry Required

  • 4-6 years Distribution or transportation industry Preferred


Skills and Abilities

  • Analytical skills (Medium proficiency)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (High proficiency)

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and a variety of duties (High proficiency)

  • Experience with computer-based management systems for inventory control, shipping operations, and fulfillment services (Medium proficiency)
