Construction Inspector
**Future Opportunity**

CSEngineering is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our growing team. This role will provide construction quality assurance and oversight support for facility and infrastructure projects in a government environment, helping ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and contract requirements.
  • Perform daily site inspections and document project progress using required reporting methods and forms.
  • Review contractor submittals, technical proposals, progress documentation, and modification-related materials.
  • Monitor schedules, identify delays or deficiencies, validate stored materials, and report performance concerns to appropriate government personnel.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to support milestone inspections, reporting, and resolution of construction issues.
  • Assist with weekly activity reporting and help ensure construction activities align with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Tier 1 Background Investigation and Common Access Card
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent or equivalent qualifying experience.
  • ICC National Commercial Inspector (B2) certification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English; resumes for proposed personnel must demonstrate English fluency.
  • Current ICC Commercial Electrical Inspector (E2), Commercial Mechanical Inspector (M2), or Commercial Plumbing Inspector (P2) certification.
  • AutoCAD Certified Associate (ACA) or E4Clicks Introductory course certification.
  • Experience supporting construction oversight in regulated government or military environments is preferred
