Why the Regional Asset Manager is important to Bright: 

The Regional Asset Manager at Bright Event Rentals is responsible for overseeing and optimizing asset utilization across multiple locations within a designated region. This role ensures that all rental equipment, vehicles, and inventory are efficiently allocated, maintained, and tracked to support operational effectiveness. The Regional Asset Manager collaborates closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and leadership to maximize asset performance while minimizing losses and inefficiencies. 


Your contributions to the Bright Team:

  • Asset Management & Optimization: Oversee the distribution, allocation, and utilization of rental assets to ensure maximum availability and efficiency across multiple locations. 
  • Inventory Control & Tracking: Implement best practices for tracking, reporting, and auditing company assets, ensuring accurate inventory records and preventing loss or mismanagement. 
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor asset-related expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting efforts for new equipment procurement and fleet expansion. 
  • Collaboration with Operations Teams: Work closely with warehouse managers, dispatch teams, and logistics personnel to align asset deployment with operational demands. 
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to track asset performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements. 
  • Procurement & Disposal: Assist in the evaluation and acquisition of new rental equipment, ensuring alignment with business needs, and manage asset retirement or disposal when necessary. 
  • Team Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to warehouse and logistics teams on best practices for asset handling, tracking, and maintenance procedures. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between regional operations, corporate leadership, and vendors to ensure asset management strategies align with company objectives. 


Requirements

 Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, operations, logistics, or a related field, preferably in the event rental, logistics, or hospitality industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, fleet management, and asset tracking technologies. 
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies related to asset utilization. 
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make strategic recommendations. 
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and asset management software. 
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed. 

Physical demands and Abilities: 

  • This role requires both office work and on-site visits to various locations. 
  • May require occasional lifting (up to 15lbs), standing, and moving of rental equipment as needed. 
  • Travel within the region is required to support multiple locations. 

Salary: 125k - 135k
