We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager

We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in Excel, including strong experience with spreadsheets, cycle counting, and VLOOKUP functions.

JOBSUMMARY:

The Logistics Operations Managermonitorsalloperations including butnot limited to; Process shipments, prepare paperwork,communicate freightstatusanddispatch driversforpickup.The supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, systemoperationsand vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures.

EssentialFunctions:

  • Responsibleforongoingprocessanalysisofoperationalsystems,procedures,andstaffingtodrive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasks

  • Cycle counting

  • Excel a MUST

  • Responsibleforensuringsafe operationsaswellascompliance withallOSHAregulations, all applicable laws, and Pilot's Corporate Policies

  • Effectivelytrain,supervise,coachandevaluatealldirectreportstofostergoodcommunicationsandmorale

  • Reviewsoperationalkeyperformancemeasuresmonthlyaswellasbenchmarkingdatatodriveany required correctional or improvement strategies
