Overview

Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Journeyman-Level Logistics Support Analyst to support the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Delta 11 Logistics Management Team.

The Logistics Support Analyst will provide logistics management and program analysis support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Delta 11 logistics operations. The position will support multiple programs across the Delta 11 portfolio, including logistics planning, asset and requirements tracking, data analysis, and program coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Department of Defense (DoD) logistics, preferably supporting the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while operating effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

The Logistics Support Journeyman will:

  • Support the lifecycle management and sustainment of National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) support equipment, ensuring assets remain available, accountable, and mission-ready
  • Manage and maintain accountability for Government Furnished Property (GFP), including property records, inventories, transfers, and disposition activities
  • Track and analyze logistics requirements, equipment status, asset availability, and sustainment activities across supported programs
  • Coordinate equipment transfers, property movements, and materiel management activities with government personnel, program offices, and other stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain, and update logistics and materiel management procedures, documentation, and tracking tools
  • Support audit readiness and compliance reviews, ensuring property and logistics records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained
  • Identify logistics discrepancies, equipment accountability issues, and potential sustainment risks; coordinate corrective actions as required
  • Provide logistics data, status reports, and analysis to support program reviews, leadership briefings, and operational decision-making
  • Support continuous improvement of Delta 11 logistics processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accountability, and mission readiness
Requirements

Skills and Experience

The Logistics Support Journeyman must have:

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 5+ years of relevant DoD experience in logistics, supply, property, or materiel management
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD logistics and lifecycle sustainment, preferably supporting the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force
  • Experience managing Government Furnished Property (GFP) and maintaining accurate property accountability records
  • Experience supporting equipment transfers, inventories, asset tracking, and materiel management activities
  • Experience developing and maintaining formal logistics, property accountability, and materiel management procedures
  • Working knowledge of DoD property accountability, audit readiness, and logistics compliance requirements

Security Clearance

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen.
