Job description

The Position

The Technology Logistics Administrator is responsible forย coordinating, tracking, and managing all technology equipment, inventory, and related operational resources used across the organization. This role supportsย onsiteย employees by overseeing hardware lifecycles,ย optimizingย distribution workflows,ย maintainingย accurateย asset records, and partnering with IT, Facilities, and People Operations to ensure employees have the tools they need on day one.ย This role is ideal for aย detailoriented,ย processdrivenย individual who thrives in aย fastpacedย environment and enjoys working at the intersection of technology andย logistics.ย ย 

What You Will be Doing

  • Contributorย toย theย quality management systemย of the facilityย and the conformity of the product provided to customers.ย ย 
  • Track asset lifecycles from procurement to deployment, return, refurbishment, andย decommissioningย including cycle counts.ย 
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.ย 
  • Manage relationships withย logisticsย carriers and shipping vendors.ย 
  • Conduct shipping and receiving duties including verification of billsย ofย lading.ย 
  • Maintain documentation for asset tagging, device assignment, andย chainofcustodyย logs.ย 
  • Identifyย and implement improvements to streamline technologyย logisticsย workflows.ย ย 
  • Standardize packaging, tracking, and distribution procedures.ย 
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal reporting related to assetย utilization, loss, and cost.ย 
  • Supportย purchasingย activities as needed. ย

Special Requirements
  • Able to read and interpret asset documentation, shippingย requirementsย and inventory reports.ย 
  • Proficient with assettracking systems,ย ticketing platforms, spreadsheet tools, and basic deviceconfiguration workflows.ย 
  • Skilledย in tracking quantities, reconciling counts, and interpreting simple usage or cost data.ย 
  • Capable ofย diagnosing logistical issues,ย identifyingย discrepancies, and making decisionsย regardingย device routing, replacements, or escalations.ย 
  • Evaluates assetย utilizationย trends,ย identifiesย inefficiencies, and recommends process improvements.ย 
  • Must be able to safelyย operateย a forklift for moving, staging, and storing technology equipment and materials.ย ย 
Equipment

Experience packing tools, shipping materials, barcode scanners, and workstation setup tools.ย

  • May require lifting aids, gloves, or safety shoes when handling heavier equipment.ย

  • Familiarity with standard IT hardware such as laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to workย crossfunctionally.ย 
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (typically 30-50ย lbs).ย ย
