As a Project Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every aspect of project-site logistics is meticulously managed. From coordinating trucking operations to liaising with service vendors and subcontractors, your expertise will be crucial in driving the successful schedule and delivery of construction projects.

What you will be doing
  • Effectue les operations quotidiennes de repartition, notamment la coordination du transport sur site, du deplacement d'equipements et de grues; ses activites comprennent la production de rapports et de previsions pour les equipes de controle qualite, d'equipement, d'approvisionnement et d'exploitation.
  • Coordonne et supervise l'entretien des aires de chantier, y compris la logistique des bureaux modulaires, des equipements technologiques, du stockage des fournitures, materiaux et equipements de construction.
  • Assure le suivi et la supervision de la logistique des granulats et des analyses de sol pour le chantier, conformement aux directives de la direction de projet.
  • Prevoit les besoins en granulats et en transport pour le chantier, avec l'aide des operations; collabore etroitement avec les chefs de chantier et les sous-traitants pour soumettre et prevoir les besoins du projet.Gere et coordonne les sous-traitants sur le chantier pour le balayage, les granulats, les analyses, le transport et les camions aspirateurs.
  • Rapproche les paiements des factures des prestataires de services du chantier, tels que le balayage, l'enlevement des dechets et la securite.
  • Performs daily dispatch operations including, but not limited to, coordinating onsite trucking, moving equipment and cranes. Activities include reporting and forecasting for quality control, equipment, procurement and operations teams.
  • Coordinates and oversees maintenance of project yards, including logistics of office trailers, technology, storage of construction supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Maintains, tracks and oversees all aggregate logistics and soil testing for project site and as directed by project management.
  • Forecasts aggregate and trucking needs for project site with help from project operations. Works closely with superintendents and subcontractors to submit and forecast project needs.
  • Manages and coordinates subcontractors on project site regarding sweeping, aggregates, testing, trucking and Vac-trucks.
  • Reconciles invoice payments for project site service vendors, such as sweeping, trash removal and security.
 What we are looking for
  • Plus de 5 ans d'experience dans le secteur du genie civil lourd requis.
  • Plus de 3 ans d'experience en gestion de travaux requis.
  • Diplome universitaire (Bachelor) apprecie.
  • Certification STS (Safety Trained Supervisor) souhaitee.
  • Permis de conduire valide.

  • Connaissances approfondies en matiere d'utilisation et d'entretien du materiel de chantier.
  • Connaissances approfondies des protocoles de securite sur les chantiers.

  • Capacite a travailler avec des concepts mathematiques tels que les probabilites, les statistiques et les bases de la geometrie.
  • 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
  • 3+ years construction management experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Required company or regulatory and safety certifications
  • Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules, if applicable.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals geometry.
