In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. 


How you create impact

  • Coordinate daily operations to ensure alignment with operational plans, priorities, and schedules.

  • Monitor shift performance, including throughput, service levels, quality, backlog management, start-up activities, and shift handovers.

  • Serve as the primary Kuehne+Nagel contact for 4PL shift and area leads.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing, skill coverage, and adherence to established processes and procedures.

  • Address execution issues and escalate operational risks or performance concerns as required; promote compliance with Kuehne+Nagel safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Monitor safe work practices and address unsafe conditions or behaviors to maintain a compliant workplace. Identify and resolve operational issues affecting service, productivity, or quality.

  • Support root cause analysis and ensure timely communication and escalation of service-impacting concerns.; track and validate operational KPIs and shift performance metrics.

  • Participate in daily meetings, shift handovers, and operational huddles.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide clear feedback on performance, issues, and follow-up actions.

What we would like you to bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years in a supervisory role

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations. Proficiency in French and English (English-speaking clients)

  • Experience working in outsourced, managedservices, or contract logistics environments. 

  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes and operational KPIs. 

  • Ability to coordinate work and drive outcomes without direct authority.
