Job description

We're looking for a Merchandising Operations Manager to bring Dead by Daylight and Behaviour IPs merchandise lines to life by turning creative concepts into physical products that ship to our e-store on time, on budget and true to the brand. You'll be the bridge between the creative team and the vendors who manufacture our products, owning everything from sourcing the right partners to getting finished goods into our estore warehouses. If you are looking for a fast-paced, highly operational role within a live game environment, where you'll need to move quickly and stay close to the details, this role is perfect for you.
In this role you will :
  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and manufacturers who can meet creative requirements and quality standards.
  • Negotiate pricing, production timelines, minimum order quantities, and terms with suppliers.
  • Draft vendor agreements and issue purchase orders to formalize production terms and kick off manufacturing.
  • Track production timelines closely and coordinate with the creative team to ensure products are ready for launch dates.
  • Conduct quality control checks on samples and final production runs to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics, including customs/import requirements and distribution to warehouses, so products are ready for the e-store to operate.
What we are looking for :
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in merchandise, sourcing, or vendor/supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills, with the ability to align varied viewpoints and reach consensus with vendors while protecting key priorities.
  • Solid task and project management skills, with the ability to organize deadlines and resources across multiple production cycles at once.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, able to handle unexpected problems (delays, quality issues) with clarity and composure.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to build strong partnerships with creative and e-store teams.
  • An interest in or understanding of the video game industry is a plus.
Dans ce role tu devras :
  • Identifier, evaluer et selectionner des fournisseurs et fabricants capables de repondre aux exigences creatives et aux normes de qualite etablies;
  • Negocier les prix, les delais de production, les quantites minimales de commande et les conditions avec les fournisseurs;
  • Rediger les ententes avec les fournisseurs et emettre les bons de commande afin de formaliser les conditions de production et d'amorcer la fabrication;
  • Suivre de pres les echeanciers de production et coordonner avec l'equipe creative pour s'assurer que les produits sont prets a temps pour les dates de lancement;
  • Effectuer des controles de qualite sur les echantillons et les lots de production finaux afin de garantir leur conformite avec les lignes directrices de la marque et la direction creative;
  • Coordonner la logistique d'expedition, incluant les exigences douanieres et d'importation, ainsi que la distribution vers les entrepots, afin que les produits soient prets pour la mise en marche sur la boutique en ligne.
Ce que nous recherchons :
  • Un minimum de 5 ans d'experience pertinente en marchandisage, en approvisionnement ou en gestion de fournisseurs/chaine d'approvisionnement;
  • De solides competences en negociation et en influence, avec la capacite de concilier differents points de vue et d'arriver a un consensus avec les fournisseurs tout en protegeant les priorites cles;
  • De bonnes competences en gestion de taches et de projets, avec la capacite d'organiser les echeances et les ressources a travers plusieurs cycles de production simultanement;
  • A l'aise avec l'ambiguite, capable de gerer des imprevus (retards, problemes de qualite) avec clarte et sang-froid;
  • Un esprit de collaboration, avec la capacite de batir des partenariats solides avec les equipes creatives et celles de la boutique en ligne;
  • Un interet pour l'industrie du jeu video ou une bonne comprehension de celle-ci est un atout.

Vous serez le lien entre l'equipe creative et les fournisseurs qui fabriquent nos produits, en prenant en charge l'ensemble du processus, de la selection des bons partenaires jusqu'a l'arrivee des produits finis dans nos entrepots.
