Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Manager, for our MRO Operations team.

The opportunity:

The Operations Manager is an integral role within TP Aerospace Technics LLC, dealing with the daily workflow planning and production to support the operations and sales of the Trading and Program divisions of the TP Aerospace Group of companies.  This position reports to the COO, Americas and is responsible for directing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations for aircraft wheels and brakes.  The Operations Manager ensures all work meets FAA, EASA, OEM, and internal quality standards, while maintaining a strong safety culture.  If necessary, the Operations Manager will also coordinate with other MRO facilities within the TP Aerospace organization to achieve operational goals.


The primary tasks: 

  • Direct and manage all scheduled and unscheduled wheels and brake maintenance operations, including urgent materials, inspections, machine operation and facility maintenance
  • Ensure the Annual, Monthly and Daily assigned production goals are achieved
  • Establish a daily, weekly and monthly workflow plan in coordination with Work Planning
  • Manage and oversee company’s ERP system data accordingly in areas specific to program material prioritization, inventory, budgeting
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager on incoming material to establish workflow priorities and completed outgoing material to establish an orderly transition from Production to Warehouse
  • Supervise, train and ensure all technicians are qualified and maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, etc.), OEM specifications, and within company internal quality systems
  • Additional duties as assigned by the COO

Qualifications:

We are seeking an Operations Manager who can identify with the description below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or another technical discipline and/or a minimum for 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of FAA Repair Stations operations
  • Must have experience in aircraft maintenance required: 4 years
  • Must be able to be certified under 14 CFR Part 65
  • Proven management experience in aviation operations or maintenance environments with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, federal regulations (FAA, EASA), logistics management, and safety protocols

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong leadership, team building, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Focus on safety culture and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English; Spanish skills a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; ERP/maintenance, Quantum software experience (preferred)
