Position Summary

Crags Lodge is seeking a friendly, skilled, and service-oriented Part-Time Bartender to create exceptional guest experiences in our bar. This role is responsible for preparing beverages, engaging with guests, and delivering warm, attentive service in alignment with Vivamee Virtues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming, engaging bar experience
  • Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
  • Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and local offerings
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify guest age as required
  • Accurately process orders and payments using POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and sanitation
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Build rapport with guests to enhance their overall experience
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or food & beverage experience preferred
  • Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation techniques
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and POS system proficiency
  • Positive attitude and guest-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
  • Compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
