Job description

Lodge Coordinator
Are you an organized leader who thrives in unique environments? We are looking for a Lodge Coordinator to run our remote site operations. In this role, you will oversee everything from food services and accommodations to maintenance and administration. You will be the heart of our site, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both our guests and our hard-working team.
If you have a strong background in large-scale kitchen management, love leading a team, and enjoy the reward of running a smooth operation in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do
  • Lead & Mentor: Supervise and train our lodge staff to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Manage Food & Menus: Plan daily menus, handle food inventory, and order supplies based on how many guests are staying with us. You will also plan special event meals and carefully accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Ensure Safety & Cleanliness: Hold your team to high health and sanitation standards. You will keep kitchen gear clean, manage laundry services, and make sure housing inspections are done right and on time.
  • Oversee Facilities: Keep our housing units in top shape by coordinating property repairs and working closely with internal trades and external contractors.
  • Handle Budgets: Track and manage costs for food, maintenance, labor, and overall lodge operations.
  • Run Administration: Keep accurate daily logs, write incident reports, do employee reviews, and submit weekly payroll. You will also step in to support our sawmill operations when needed.

What You Bring
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Head Cook or supervisor in a commercial kitchen. (Bonus points if you have cooked for large groups in remote locations!)
  • Certification: A valid food safety certification.
  • Tech Skills: Solid knowledge of MS Office and computer programs used for payroll, ordering, and purchasing.
  • Logistics: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to our site.
  • Drive: A self-motivated attitude and the flexibility to work shifts and weekends.
