Position Summary
Eleven seeks Lodge Staff to execute daily guest logistics and uphold Eleven's excellent standards of hospitality. Responsibilities include general guest services duties, e.g. assisting the culinary department with meals, bartending, basic housekeeping, general errands and guest logistics, including transportation. This position requires clean MVR, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, CPR/First Aid and TIPS certification, or willingness to be certified. Preference for excellent problem solving skills, extensive knowledge of the Gunnison Valley area, and ability to work with diverse personalities in a fast paced, demanding atmosphere. These full/part time, Summer seasonal positions are paid $20/hour, plus portion of staff tip pool. The Summer season runs May through October.
Position Purpose
The lodge staff is a guest-facing position that includes a variety of responsibilities embodying the Eleven standard while guests are in-house. This position will support and assist in executing daily logistics for guests.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
  • General guest services at Crested Butte properties (Scarp Ridge Lodge, Sopris House, Axtel):
    • Meal service (breakfast, lunch, and dinner):
      • Prepare table settings for meals.
      • Prepare espresso-based beverages.
      • Assist chefs with prep, serving, and cleanup.
    • Re-stock and inventory mini bars, bath amenities, and common areas.
    • Prepare property for guest return and/or arrival.
    • General housekeeping duties:
      • Assist housekeeping team with turndown service.
    • Clean and detail company vehicles.
  • Operate technology systems.
  • Assist in all Irwin Guides and Eleven transportation needs including, but not limited to:
    • Airport transfers
    • CBMR transfers
    • Trailhead transports.
    • Gear Drop Off/Pick Up.
    • Grocery runs.
  • Assist with logistics related to catered events, including birthdays, weddings, and catered dinners.
  • Assist with general errands, including grocery shopping, special guest requests, post office visits, and lodge errands.
  • Bartending responsibilities:
    • Set up the bar, mix and serve drinks as needed.
    • Ensure guests are correctly billed.

Qualifications
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified or willingness to be certified.
  • Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certified or willingness to be certified.

Special Position Requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of summer and winter outdoor gear (skis, bikes, etc.).
  • Previous experience in hospitality/guest-facing environments.
  • Willingness to learn food service and bartending basics.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
