Job description

RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Stepdown

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in critical care stepdown. The unit has a total of 31 beds. Patient ratios are 1:4 to 1:5. The equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps and occasional epidural pumps. The electronic health record system is Meditech. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include post-vascular procedures, post-CABG, CVA, respiratory failure, heart failure, chest pain, and post-cath lab care. The ideal candidate should be kind, respectful, a team player, punctual, and flexible. Preferred experience includes working in critical care stepdown or PCU and familiarity with TR bands.
