Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Project Engineer on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM), a 63-year-old Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our Navy Customer!
Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution.


Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
To be effective in this role, you will need:
Prior technical project leadership experience.
3+ years professional experience.
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
