Standard Job Description We do Space at Lockheed Martin. We are looking for a Technical Trainer at our Sunnyvale, CA site. The successful candidate will have skills in soldering, cable and harness, torquing, and general manufacturing practices.

Our training staff is diverse and have a great team cohesiveness and you could be part of that outstanding team. Our instructors train using the latest technology and teach our new employees to build satellites and missile systems. Come and join us on our fantastic journey.

Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.

Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. Basic Qualifications - 2+ years manufacturing experience - Experience training employees in a manufacturing environment - IPC Solder or Cable certification - MS Office experience Desired Skills - Instructor level IPC certifications (CIT) - Instructional Systems Design experience - Learning Management Systems experience - Experience as a technical trainer Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $74900.00 - $139100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
