THEWORK
The Sr. Process Engineer will lead composite process development work in Owego, defining new processes that improve both yield and cost savings. They will also serve as an integral member of the team working with adhesives and sealants for our circuitboard manufacturing line.
In this role you will:
Lead the development and optimization of composite manufacturing processes, applying innovative techniques to increase yield and reduce production costs.
Design, test, and qualify adhesive and sealant applications for circuitboard assemblies, ensuring reliability and performance across defense programs.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams-including materials, quality, and manufacturing engineering-to integrate process improvements into highvolume production.
Analyze process data, identify rootcause defects, and implement corrective actions that drive continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
Support the transfer of new processes from pilot to fullscale manufacturing, coordinating with supply chain and production leadership.
