Job description

SUMMARY

Supervises and coordinates the activities of Lockbox Clerical Worker under the direction of the Supervisor. Must have knowledge of all department systems equipment. Banking and accounting experience is a MUST.

Key Responsibilities:

· Must have thorough knowledge of all department equipment including Trans. Remittance Processors, OPS (mail opening processor), Image Scanner Processor and all PC equipment.

· Prepare work schedules to expedite workflow by examining daily production logs to determine resource utilization.

· Monitor all work performance of Lockbox for accuracy and true productivity in compliance to that of the contract

· Coordinate and control the flow of correspondence.

· Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

· Check all processed work being transmitted for accuracy through batch control.

· Make sure all payments received are secured in the Lockbox area and that currency is placed in the safe.

· Participate in the training of new staff members

· Work under the direction of the Supervisor and perform some of the duties in his or her absence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and volumes

REASONING ABILITY

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
