We invite you to join us! Our team is looking for a Localization Technical Solution Architect to help scale and optimize our global localization ecosystem. In this role, you'll design integration solutions, streamline workflows, and drive automation across our content pipelines to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant player experiences worldwide. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this position is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, risks, and status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish quality checks, governance practices, and compliance standards for integrations and automated workflows, including data security and privacy considerations.
  • Support the evaluation and integration of ML-powered capabilities such as NMT, LLMs, and ML-assisted QA into localization workflows where they provide measurable value.
  • Create and maintain clear technical and project documentation, including requirements, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and success criteria.
  • Identify process gaps and automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve localization quality, speed, and scalability.
  • Drive integration initiatives from discovery through rollout, including workflow analysis, scope definition, milestone planning, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Partner with Localization, Engineering, Production, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements, define scalable solutions, and align on implementation plans.
  • Design and implement integrations across localization systems such as TMS, CAT, CMS, DAM, and ML-enabled platforms using APIs, connectors, and automated workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in localization engineering, solutions architecture, technical program delivery, or a similar integration-focused role.
  • Strong program management and communication skills, including experience driving milestones, managing dependencies and risks, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Solid understanding of localization workflows, including content handoff, versioning, terminology or translation memory management, review cycles, and multilingual delivery pipelines.
  • Familiarity with localization platforms such as MemoQ, Smartling, XTM, Gridly, or similar tools, and localization data formats such as XLIFF, TMX, JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Working knowledge of databases, ETL or data transformation, authentication and security approaches such as OAuth 2.0 and SSO, and common observability practices for workflow health monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting or automation, preferably Python, plus familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines, with familiarity in integration patterns such as event-driven, batch, and real-time workflows.
  • Experience delivering integrations across localization platforms and related systems such as TMS, CAT, CMS, DAM, and external vendor environments.

Extra Points:

  • Multilingual capabilities or prior experience working directly with localization service providers or external localization vendors.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, live-service, or multi-vendor content ecosystems.
  • Exposure to CMS, DAM, DevOps, or content operations tools such as Contentstack, AEM, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with API testing and documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS or workflow automation tools such as Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, Workato, or Power Automate.
  • Experience integrating ML solutions into localization workflows, including NMT, LLMs, or ML-assisted QA.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $30.47 - $56.35 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
